Building Healthier Communities

At Heal the Hero Foundation, we believe communities thrive when our first responders are mentally and physically resilient.\u00a0 Neighborhoods become safer and more vibrant places to live, work, and play. And at the heart of every crisis, residents can find a hero to help when they are in need.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, we are in the midst of a mental health crisis that affects the first responders we rely on in our greatest moments of need. Day after day, first responders put the safety and wellbeing of others ahead of their own. Until we prioritize their wellbeing, our communities will never realize total health and safety.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Heal the Hero Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity that exists to address this crisis by reimagining mental wellness and resilience for first responders.<\/p>\n

We equip police departments, fire departments, EMS and more with the tools and resources they need to perform at the highest level, feel physically and mentally healthy, and create better conditions for first responders and communities to work together.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Sacrificing Mental Health<\/h2><\/div>

First responders are valued on the frontlines for the depths of their strength and bravery \u2013\u00a0 but the trauma or stress they experience in one day can be more than others feel in a lifetime. We can do more to protect those who protect us.<\/p>\n<\/div>
